Harvests: This Summer In The Garden

This summer has been a whirlwind for me. I picked up some part time work at a local organic farm last winter and the job lasted way into the summer. A couple of months before the farm job started I began volunteering at the Community Vegetable Garden at Heathcote Botanical Gardens. Just as the farm job ended I began an Organic Gardening series of presentations at Heathcote Botanical Gardens which is ongoing. I have just barely been able to keep up with the growing in my garden, my blog, well you know. Fortunately I have been snapping pictures, so I am hoping the pics will tell the story for my summer in the garden.

Looks like your garden has been as productive as you’ve been this past summer. Love those long beans. Are they tasty?

Thanks for your comment Susan, The longs beans are delicious. In a taste test I couldn’t tell them from bush beans, they’re just longer.
