Ron, Lactuca floridana, or Villosa, or Woodland Lettuce is a wild plant. Most gardeners would call it a weed. If you live in the eastern US or eastern Canada chances are it is nearby. The ones that grow in my yard are almost always in flower, so if you are in my area I would be glad to gather some seeds for you, or even gather some seedlings for you. I did google buy seeds for Woodland Lettuce, but did not find any specific listing for Woodland Lettuce that way.
