Thanks Jean, They seem to do real well if given something on which to climb. I let them use my passive compost piles now because I can’t afford to let them take over my vegetable gardens. Some people would gird a tree to kill it and then plant the seminole pumpkin below allowing it to climb the dead tree and the pumpkins would hang from the branches. Apparently if you keep harvesting the pumpkins small instead of letting them attain full size the vine will continue on for a longer time trying to make progeny.
Wow!!! Can’t wait to see how ours does! It’s beautiful.
