Varri Green Farm is a wonderful Natural vegetable producer in Okeechobee Florida. Last season Varri Green Farm made an excellent showing at the Fort Pierce Green Market. Every week they had a variety of sprouts, several varieties of radishes, beets, carrots, greens, arugula, and amazing bags stuffed full of very clean substantial lettuce, as well as big heads of lettuce. Those lettuce bags would last us nearly a week without turning to mush in the refrigerator while we grazed on them. They also brought some interesting fruits like Tangor Lime an orange flavored lime, as well as Passion Fruit.
Varri Green Farm is a Slow Food Organization member and hosts Slow Food Dinners at the farm in the growing season (Oct. thru May). You can see what Varri Green Farm is up to at their web site
